Bernstein Criminal Defense

Mark A. Bernstein has been practicing law since 1997. He has a Bachelors of Science in Finance with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland and his law degree, with a J.D. from Rutgers Law School where he focused on Criminal Law.

Mr. Bernstein decided to specialize in Criminal Defense to protect people’s rights against overreaching by the police. Under the law, people are entitled to due process and fair treatment—and he seeks to protect those freedoms. When he takes on a case, Mark personally picks apart every piece of evidence in order to build the strongest and best defense he can to ensure his clients’ rights are protected. He is aggressive and never backs down from any prosecutor. Mr. Bernstein fights until the end for every client and treats each case as if it’s the most important one.

During his down time, Mark likes to spend time playing sports with his teenage son. In addition to that, he enjoys a rousing game of poker.

He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar. He is licensed to practice in both states.
